I received the sweetest little dress for Natalie from Monsoons & Mangoes, an Etsy shop based in Australia! It's a light, summery dress hand-made from beautiful vintage fabric, and I just love it!
My favorite things about Monsoons & Mangoes:*Nikki, the designer, has such a unique style! She loves vintage fabric and often re-purposes old bed linens and doilies. She uses vintage buttons and vintage trims too!
*This summer dress for Natalie is in a perfect style to be dress for now, and a cute top later as she gets bigger! She'll be able to wear it with jeans or leggings. SUCH a smart idea!
*Most of her designs are one-of-a-kind, and never repeated. You know other kids won't be wearing the same outfit!
*She makes almost all of her outfits and dresses out of up-cycled fabrics. She even tied our packaging with a bow made of leftover scraps from the dress she made for Natalie. I love how she makes every little bit count, and doesn't like to let things go to waste!
*The name. . . who wouldn't want to buy from a shop with such a yummy name as Monsoons & Mangoes? I adore it!!!
Each of her creations is totally different from the last, and some are made from bright, bold, retro fabrics. I absolutely LOVE this top, and wish I could buy one in my size!!!
Nikki has generously agreed to do a giveaway of a summery dress in the same style as the one I got for Natalie!!!
