Songs For A Summer Day!

Merrianne tagged me with this FUN song tag! I love this one, because I love to see what songs my friends are addicted to and find great new music to listen to! I am SUCH a song addict!

Here is the tag:
List 7 songs you are into right now.
No matter what genre,
whether they have words,
or even if they are not any good,
but they must be songs you are really into right now,
shaping your summer.

Post these instructions in your blog along with your 7 songs.
Then tag 7 other people to see what they're listening to.

Here is my list!!!

1. "Viva La Vida" by Coldplay

2. "Falling Down" by Duran Duran

3. "If I Had Eyes" by Jack Johnson

4. "Pocketful of Sunshine" by Natasha Bedingfield

5. "Shut Up And Drive" by Rihanna

6. "Follow Through" by Gavin DeGraw

7. "Bleeding Love" by Leona Lewis

It was SO hard to pick only 7 songs, but I have been addicted recently to each of these songs and have re-played them a whole bunch while I'm driving around in my car. This tag actually inspired me to make a new CD titled "Songs That Shape My Summer 2008". All of the above songs are on it of course, and here are the rest of the songs on the CD:
-"Lay Down Burden" by Brian Wilson
-"No Air" by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown
-"All Summer Long" by the Beach Boys
-"4 In The Morning" by Gwen Stefani
-"Do You Know" by Enrique Iglesias
-"Summer Sunshine" by The Corrs
-"Hot" by Avril Lavigne
-"To Be Alive Again" by Journey
-"Here Comes the Sun" by The Beatles
-"Reach Up For the Sunrise" by Duran Duran
-"Lost!" by Coldplay
-"Wendy" by the Beach Boys
-"Where's Summer Been?" by Ben Folds Five

I'd love to know what everyone thinks of my summer-shaping songs! My favorite place to download music is from Limewire.

Now I Tag:

1. Rachel Gunnell
2. Alyssa
3. Erin Hoy
4. Brandon Moore
5. Tiffany Andrews
6. Alisa Smith
7. Jeanette
8. Katie Harding

  4. What a great list! Made me think back on some of my favorites that I haven't listened to for a while. Hands down, my favorite album of all time is Journey's Greatest Hits. It just does something to me every time!

  5. Uh oh... this is where people find out my taste in music hasn't really changed since 1995.

Well, no. It has. Now included in the top 20 are several disney/kid songs. :D This week we're rocking out to "Sandra Boynton"s Silly Songs.
    Nice.

  6. Merrianne: Thank you! I love ALL kinds of music! I'm picky when it comes to food, but not at ALL about music!

Alyssa: YES, I love those routines done to those songs too! That's fun that our music tastes are so similar!

Rachel: Thanks, I thought it was a fun tag too! Can't wait to see your choices!

Amber: I LOVE Journey too, even though I was really little when they were popular. I discovered them when I was a teenager and have loved them ever since!

Alisa: Sounds like you guys have some fun music going on in your house, for sure!!

  8. Your list is AWESOME! I've never been tagged...I wish I did sometimes! : ) I LOVE "No Air" by Jordin Sparks too. It is SO good! I had that playing in my head the other day and then I turned on the radio and it was playing! It was odd.
