My favorite beach we saw on our Olympic Peninsula trip was Ruby Beach. It was only about 20 minutes away from where we were staying in La Push. We went to the Hoh Rainforest first, and then kept going to Ruby Beach. This was the first view we saw of Ruby Beach, from the parking lot at the top of the hill.
This was SUCH a beautiful beach! I loved it!
This was SUCH a beautiful beach! I loved it!
We walked down the hill and out onto the beach. Kirsten had fallen asleep in the car, so Stephen just stayed in the car with her and neither of them came down on the beach. Here's Jessica and me on Ruby Beach!
I also LOVED the awesome shapes of these rocks. This is one of my favorite pictures I took on the trip!
Ruby Beach looks beautiful!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat place looks so amazing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Kirsten is such a poser! She always has a smile for the camera, so cute.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I told you this, Ashley, but Chris and I are moving to your area in the next couple of years. As soon as Chris finishes school, we're moving. We want to live in the Seattle area so bad! It was cool to be reading these books and have it be based where we want to end up! I'm SO jealous of your trip and when we come out to find a place to live, Chris and I will have to explore it too. Wow. Thanks for the comment and for sharing your pictures with me! It looks so beautiful, just like I imagined it would be in the book. Wow!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a cool beach! Love the picts.
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite part of seeing all your pictures is that the sun isn't really shining in any of them! I can TOTALLY see the Cullens living there.
ReplyDeleteHey Ash! Awesome pictures! Some day I'd love to see this beach in person.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, your photos leave me breathless! Maybe one day we can visit Ruby beach and La Push.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteYou are killing me with all these posts. I see these pictures and it actually makes me want to go back to the Northwest! :-) Good thing we've got family out there so we will have plenty of reasons to return for vacations.
ReplyDeleteI also wish we had done more exploring while we were living there and gone to more places like this.
really cool pictures!
