For our 4th of July, we went to a BBQ at a ward member's house . It was a lot of fun! They had a big, beautiful backyard that made me wish I had one too!As you can see, I have WAY too much fun dressing Kirsten up for holidays. I loved her little American outfit!
And she had WAY too much fun with the star-shaped sugar cookie she pulled off my plate. When I tried to replace it with her animal crackers (that she normally loves!) she just threw them. She wanted that star cookie!
Every baby needs a little 7-Up, right? (It wasn't really open. She just liked sucking on the cold can).
Since fireworks don't go off until after 10 here because of all the light, Stephen decided to stay home and put Kirsten to bed instead of trying to take her to the fireworks. Amazingly, she even slept through all the noise of the fireworks people were setting off all over! I went with our friends Stacy and Oscar to view the fireworks from the roof of the Seattle Opera House. We set up a table and played games until the fireworks started. We had this nice view of the Space Needle and the sunset.
LOVE your pictures! Your daughter's adorable. Left some bling for you at my blog.

ReplyDeleteWe never went to the fireworks downtown when we lived in Seattle. My husband worked second or third shift most of the time we lived there and so we never made it. I did see the local ones where I lived but never the big ones downtown.
What a great fourth! Kirsten as always) is sooo cute. You all look so patriotic!
