Quote of the month:
The day after we brought Brooke home from the hospital, 3 1/2 year-old Kirsten said, "It's time for that baby to go home now."
We all laughed so hard! I guess it can take awhile for the idea to sink in that this IS the baby's home. Thank goodness for moments like this one amid all the craziness of adjusting to life with three little kids in the house:

Kirsten was so sweet that night! Right after Brooke's first sponge bath (traumatic, let me tell you!) Kirsten wanted to hold the baby, and I just love these pictures I took of Kirsten holding her new baby sister.
So precious! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha, SOOOOOOOOOOO funny that Kirsten said that!! Priceless!

ReplyDeleteHow sweet. I have three kids, and I love seeing them love each other : )
ReplyDeleteSo adorable!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures made me tear up with such joy for your little family, yet such sadness for mine! Lol, the first time Lincoln held Anya, she weighed 15 pounds! A little different, but still so precious :)
ReplyDeleteYour daughters are adorable. What sweet pictures. Congrats on the new baby too :)
