My pictures still won't load onto this slow internet connection's pages, so I'll save the post of "What we did on our vacation" for later and do something I almost never do. . . a picture-free post! Gasp! What am I thinking???
Here are the things that I miss about my home in Seattle and what I'm most looking forward to seeing again tomorrow night:
1. Stephen! Of course I'm excited, since I haven't seen my husband in almost two weeks! Kirsten will be thrilled to see him again too.
2. My cute kitties! I really have missed them both! When I go to sleep at night I imagine them curled up on my pillow around my face, like they both love to do, and it makes me wish I could pet them. I hope they're excited to see me!
3. Speaking of my pillow. . . I'm excited to sleep in my own bed again with my real pillow!
4. The TREES! I seriously miss all the tall, gorgeous pine trees!
5. Our DVR. Is it pathetic to be so attached to an electronic device? Once you own a DVR, it's just so hard to live without one for any length of time! I'm looking forward to watching the shows that are saved on there and being able to record anything I want.
6. I'm excited to see my friends up there again! Even though I've had a really awesome time playing games with friends down here. I've had such a great time down here with Brandon, Tiffany, Hyrum, and Kim! Thanks for hanging out with me guys!
7. Some late Christmas gifts and cards are still waiting at home for me to open! Christmas all over again!
8. Stephen has been hard at work painting the third bedroom and our upstairs hallway while we've been gone. I'm so excited to see the results! I'll post pictures too after I see them.
This will be our last flight with Kirsten as a "lap child" because I'm sure we won't be flying with her again until after she turns 2 in May. I hope it's a good flight, and I'm hoping for plenty of empty seats so she can have her own seat anyway. We always seem to fly the full flights, but this time is a Monday and it's after the holiday season, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for empty seats!
It's been great spending time in San Diego. Watch for a post soon about all our adventures down here! For now. . . Seattle here I come!!!

It was so nice to hang out with you and Brandon! I am sad that you are leaving but I hope to get together soon!
ReplyDeleteI can't WAIT to see the new painted bedroom! I bet it will be so cute!!! And I can't wait to see all the pictures of your Christmas and everything. Your kitties make me wish I had one to sleep with!!! That was always my favorite thing when I was little, sleeping with my kitties. Have a safe trip home!!!
ReplyDeleteI think lap seats should last until 5 years old!! :) XOXO
ReplyDeleteI love your lists. Really. I first commented on a list post about your favorite things. I loved lavender vanilla softner, too.
ReplyDeleteAnyway.......have a safe/easy flight!! I miss the DVR, too, and I don't have one! It's really inconvenient to schedule your life around TV.
