This is how much fun Kirsten had while we were in San Diego. Can you get much happier than that??? I adore the look of pure joy on her face that I captured in this photo.
And that's why she's still in California. My parents really wanted to spend more time with her, so she stayed there with them until later this month. I miss her lots! But I love knowing that she's having such a fun time with Grandma and Grandpa.
I am also learning that's SO much easier taking care of just one baby than a baby and a toddler. I'm getting lots of stuff organized around the house!
Lots more pictures from our trip will be coming soon!

Oh, that's so great tjat your parents are keeping Kirsten for awhile. I'm sure it's so nice to just take care of one baby instead of a baby and toddler! Enjoy the tranquility while it lasts!
ReplyDeleteShould we get together after Kirsten gets back? I want to meet her too!
That really IS the look of PURE JOY!!! i love it!!! it makes me smile!

i know you will miss her like crazy... but it is good for you to get some one on one time with your newest bundle of joy :) and Kirsten is having a blast :)
I think this would be a great Summer time tradition :)
She is beautiful and I love her facial expression in that photo.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! I bet she's having a blast!
ReplyDeleteWAY to precious! And I LOVE her top! How fun that she gets to stay with her Grandparents. And that you get a break, well, half a break. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great picture!! XOXO
ReplyDeleteAw, I know you miss her so, so much, but, I'm sure it's nice to just have to focus on your littlest one right now! And how much fun she must be having in California! Aw!
ReplyDeletePS. I'm so so sorry that I haven't gotten your package to you yet--I am a slacker! It'll be on it's way this week. Promise!
Oh my goodness, that is the cutest picture ever! And is she holding a strawberry!? I *totally* get that excited over strawberries too...if they're covered in chocolate! :) She is so sweet!!! Enjoy your quiet days!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is the best picture! So happy and cute.
ReplyDeleteThat picture is GREAT! And how I would love a "break" with only one. And funny how when I only had one, I felt like I always needed a break. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love that picture, she is adorable! I hope you're enjoying your quiet time... and getting lots of rest.
ReplyDeleteThat is great that Kirsten gets to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa. Experiences like that are so precious. My two youngest (not as little as yours--age 14 and 9) get to spend a week with their grandparents at their cabin later this month. They are really looking forward to it. Grandparents are the best!
