Fun Finds: Happy Earth Day Giveaway!

With all the hype going on about plastics not being safe for kids and toxins releasing and stuff being recalled all the time. . . our list of things we have to worry about as moms just keeps getting longer! And even if you're not too vigilant about it, it's better to be safe than sorry, right? Today I have reviews and giveaways for two companies that are making it their top priorities to make products that are safe for our children AND the earth! I love getting the chance to help promote them on my blog.

~1~ Green to Grow!

Why this company is so great:
-They're committed to serving as stewards for the health and well-being of children
-Their feeding products for babies and toddlers are not only smart, they're pretty darn cute!
-They use 100% recycled paper and soy inks in all of their packaging
-All of their products are made from recyclable polypropylene plastic, and free of BPA, phthalates, PVC, and lead
-Everything is dishwasher-safe!

My toddler loves the Ecosystem Sippy Trainer cup, and wants to carry it with her everywhere she goes. I think the soft nipple reminds her of sucking on the precious binky that we recently took away. It's such a great transition cup for going from bottle to sippy cup! (Note: The nipple top is spill-resistant, but not spill-proof!)

One of my readers will win an awesome prize from Green To Grow. . .
*An Ecosystem Sippy Trainer Cup

AND

*An Ecosystem Snack Stacker

I reviewed their Snack Stacker as well, and the small size and convenience make it perfect for carrying snacks around in your diaper bag. It doesn't add much bulk or weight at all to your bag, but it keeps snacks from getting crushed and reduces waste by eliminating the need to for tons of Ziploc baggies floating all around your diaper bag. This is a great little Snack Stacker!

~2~green sprouts at i play.

Why you'll love green sprouts:
-They have a large, really awesome line of feeding sets, toys, and baby care items. Tons of stuff to choose from!
-Their products are made from plants! How cool is that? And you'd never guess it, either!
-Everything is petroleum-free, PVC-free, phthalate-free too.
-CUTE colors that almost look yummy enough to eat!
-They're nicely priced! $5.99 for a set of 2 bowls and 2 divided plates is awesome! I reviewed the plates and bowls, and I love the shape and size. They're very sturdy and hold up perfectly well to be washed in the top rack of the dishwasher.

Another winner will receive. . .

*A 2-pack of plates and bowls in either boy or girl colors

AND

*A toddler fork and spoon set 10-pack in boy or girl colors!

I love the peace of mind that comes from using such safe and wonderful products!

  20. I haven't been very earth conscious, but want to be. I would love to use products that I know are safe. I think most of the time I just don't even realize what I'm using isn't safe, so it's good to keep up with this stuff.

  29. At Green Sprouts we'd benefit from the cornstarch fork & spoon. What impresses me the most about them is that because babies explore through their senses and put everything in their mouths, they make sure that all of their products are safe and conform to US health and safety standards.
