Unpredictable

I love you Natalie! I'm not complaining about your sweetness or your smiles or your happiness one bit! But can you tell me why. . .

Two nights ago you slept for almost 12 hours straight, from 11 pm to 10:30 am! I thought you were a little miracle baby!!!
And then last night. . .

You were awake almost constantly through the whole night. You just wouldn't settle down! I held you, rocked you, fed you, changed you, did everything I could think of, and you just kept fussing and wiggling. I just don't know what happened!
Why???

And I will never know why.
Little babies are so unpredictable.
Every day and every night brings something new.

It's a good thing I love excitement and variety, isn't it?
I asked for it. . . and I GOT IT.

  3. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Maddox did so great for like a month and now I have been struggling for the past few weeks with his nightime routine. Last night was the worst yet, we should have talked online or something..LOL! I hope she sleeps so you can get some rest!

  4. Sounds like Natalie got enough sleep the first night for 2 nights! That is so hard. It sounds like I'd better enjoy my uninterrupted sleep while I can because that will end in a couple of months! :)

I hear you on the tired nights. Clark and I are such night owls - it's hard even for us adults to get on the right sleeping schedule. I guess that'll come in handy when having a baby? lol

  17. That is such a beautiful post and the pictures are wonderful also. Having four children I know the variety and excitement each and everyday brings. I look back and smile even at those sleepless night and days that ran together so often.

  22. She just said, "I slept enough last night to last me for 2 days!" Man, oh man. I've been pretty baby hungry but stories like that make me wonder what I'm getting myself into.
